I wonder if $100 oil and the crashing stock market has anything to do with Obama's DOMA policy? Does God still punish nations as in the Old Testament or does he deal more on an individual level in this age?
No,God's word says He will Bless those who bless Israel, and curse those who curse it.
So I think it's safe to say that it won't be homosexuality that will ultimately bring us down.God's word is very explicit in this,in that He will cut all to pieces those who strive to separate the land of His chosen ppl,and those who keep Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

You're not the first to predict that, nor will you be the first to be wrong. People have been touting the coming end of Christianity for over 2000 years, and Judaism longer than that, but here they are still!

Yes, here we are as the prophecis of the Bible are coming to pass. Many details of the prophecies of the Bible are coming to pass in our generation. Non believers have no idea that one of the most important prophecies that was waiting to be fulfilled was the return of the Jewish people to the land of Israel from a worldwide exile. This took place in 1948. The second prophecy was the retaking of Jerusalem in 1967. There are many more such prophecies. So yes, here we are. And non believers are clueless as usual, whereas we Christians are now beginning to look up.

Adulterers, fornicators, thieves, liars, murderers and so forth could all make the same argument; they can argue that they have a predisposition to do these things -- which is assuredly true. That's why Jesus said, "Ye must be born again". The old nature must be put to death so that a new nature comes forth, one that God approves of. If this born again experience is rejected, people remain sinners -- and God will eventually destroy them. Remember Sodom and Gomorrah.

No. Just a man looking at what's going on in the world. God gave us eyes to see and ears to hear.

I don't think God needs to do anything to America. We're destroying our country all by ourselves, and I do not single out any particular group of people in saying that. When we start realizing we're all part of the problem (not just "the other guy"), then there will be hope for our country. Not enough people have realized that yet.

I don't think so. Unborn children are not living souls. I think all the bloodshed of war is much more upsetting. Not that I advocate abortion, but the truth is that if my mother had terminated me during pregnancy, I'd have never known about it.

But I do cry a lot about all the real living souls in the world who are being murdered, bombed, burnt alive, starved, forgotten, and unloved.

It is my belief. It may not be your belief. However, I think there are scriptures to back that up as well. But I have to get dressed for work at the moment and will have to look them up later.
