I agree.
If you really looked at many groups... there are much more cult-like behavior than most realize. Consider fans of sport teams - LAKER CULT!
Families, Companies/Employers & Schools also have their own beliefs that each member is required to follow.
I'd say the one belief everyone should have is that of tolerance & respect of different beliefs. It's a sign of maturity.

Also...How we define God & Satan (or heaven & hell) directly affects how we define & treat ourselves & others.
Considering that most mental illnesses (in the US) were found rooted in misunderstandings of Judeo/Christian teachings, we ought to be careful about our definitions!
