And you've made it very clear that you have absolutely NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!!! But it's not your fault and I know that...you just haven't evolved consciously yet and are unable to even consider any other viewpoint but your own...that is just basic Psychology 101. When they crucified Jesus, he knew this as well...remember his words...Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. People who have not evolved to a higher consciousness CANNOT understand people who have and therefore they can only function in the realm of the consciousness they possess. If one is not willing to SEEK FIRST THE KINGDOM...which Jesus clearly stated is WITHIN US...one will never evolve to a higher consciousness to that of the Christ Consciousness so that they can actually see and experience the Kingdom within...Gods Kingdom.
The kingdom is the Holy Spirit in us which writes Gods words in our hearts and calls rememberance to the word that is there. The kingdom is in his vessels , we are the church .It is having the living word in us that is the kingdom of God. God works through us who follows him and every word is spirit and truth in our hearts. The living word of God. Jesus commanded us to feed the sheep the word of God who follow God.
So where in the word does God say we evolve to a higher consciousness?
If you do not believe every word as the inspired word of God you are an unbeliever. You have gone astray and have made a path to your own God , your own moral conciiousness has become your god and by saying what you posted you have denied Christ. To deny the word is to deny Christ.

Funny, I don't have a problem accepting the idea that a God who is Love is merciful and doesn't need me to DO anything in order to love me, WITHOUT needing to accept that God required a sacrifice. Why would Love require that?
Sacrifice is an integral part of love. What parent doesn't understand that? What would YOU sacrifice to redeem an errant child who has gone off on a path which you know leads to destruction? Would you not sacrifice yourself and all that you have to bring him back? Of course you would. You'd give your own life, wouldn't you? Well, that's exactly what God did.
But, an errant child too has to make a sacrifice to be welcomed home. Consider the parable of the prodigal son.
The father still loved his son, in spite of what he'd done, and yearned to forgive him, to tell him that all was forgotten and he was welcome home. But, the son first had to sacrifice his wayward life to receive the father's blessings: He had to come home.
It's the same in our relationship with God. He longs to forgive us, to welcome us into His house. He's made the necessary sacrifice to make it possible for us to return home, but we must accept that sacrifice and come back willingly.

From the viewpoint of the 1st cventury Christian . . . everything from the 2nd Century on is the "later times" and the 2000+years of "later times" has proven the verse . . . mainstream Christianity has been "following deceiving spirits and things taught by demons . . . compared to what 1st Century Christians followed."
