ALAMEDA, Calif., June 12 (UPI) -- Harold Camping, the Oakland, Calif., radio evangelist who garnered media attention after predicting the end of the world, suffered a stroke, a neighbor said.
"He had a stroke, it was on his right side," said the neighbor, who declined to give her name.
That's too bad. We should say a prayer for him that he repents for setting dates for end-time prophecy; potentially leading many astray during these times - a far more dangerous position than death in this world.
Is anyone surprised? God does NOT like ugly. There was no WAY that man was going to get away with that. God is a loving and forgiving god but enough is enough.
I hope he recovers, I do not agree with his theological view, however I do not think he did things out of malice, he really seemed to belive what he preaches.
