Mocking Christ and the cross by posting a picture that shows, metaphorically, how Christ and the cross overcome detstruction and sin? This thread celebrates that victory, it doesn't mock it.
heh. Well, it depends on the moment. I'd say I'm closer to believing now than I was a few months ago, but if you need to label me, you could call me a questioning agnostic. I do have hope that there is a God, Can'tWait. But either way I'm a firm believer in the power of Love.
I really wasn't posting that response to you, though, to be argumentative. I was hoping you could see the purpose of the thread in a positive light ... that the motives of people posting here are not to mock, but it's a sincere response to the joy and celebration they have in what they believe is the complete victory that will be had for all in Christ. In my case, I may or may not see "Christ" as literally as the URists do, but I DO appreciate the hope they have, and can share in the celebration of Love over sin and destruction in peoples' lives, including my own. Make sense?

I didn't think you were being argumentative. I was just surprised to read what you wrote because I thought you didn't believe in God. I am glad you are questioning and you will find Him when you seek Him with all your heart. He promises this to each and everyone of us! There is nothing more satisfying than having a relationship with Jesus Christ. I am glad you are here.

Thanks. It's much nicer to hear that than the usual, "Why are you even here?"'s that I often get.
I'll say this ... If there's a God, I think the process of seeking never (relatively speaking) ends for any of us. If there's a God who is Love, then I trust that He's already found me, and I've found God. Now it's a matter of learning to know Love/God better.
If God doesn;t have the capacity to bring us all to him, then there is no assurance that he will bring you no matter what you think you have chosen.
Arguments abound within what you say, just because you say you have chosen, doesn't mean you have chosen correctly.
Try as you might, if your exclusionary doctrine defines man as the sole instigator of his own salvation, then you cannot determine if you have chosen correctly.
Thanks. It's much nicer to hear that than the usual, "Why are you even here?"'s that I often get.

Beautifully said, Pleroo.
I identify with a LOT of what you have to say on this forum.
