Since the heavens and earth were created through Jesus Christ, and He inspired the Old Testament Prophets, their words have authority.

The Creator of the universe is so great that He considers all the nations of the world as the dust upon a scale:

"Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing." Isaish 40:15

When the Creator of the oceans considers the nations of the world as the drop that would spill from a bucket; when the Creator of the mountains considers the nations of the world as the dust upon a scale; when the Creator of the continents and isles considers them as a very little thing; then you will see any opinion which contradicts God's word is of no worth.

"As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.

But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them." Psalms 103:15-18

"God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;" Hebrews 1:1-2. (See 1 Peter 1:10-11)

Beautiful. Yes, remember.........for he knew somehow, we would forget.

Sorry Verna . . . I see nothing precious about a God we must fear or else. That version of God is a Godfather . . . NOT our loving God the Father.

When I see someone emphasize one attribute above all else, I see a god of someone's own making, rather than the God that exists.

Is a judge wrong because he sentences the murder to death? Or life in prison?

One who says love me or else you will burn for eternity . . . has no conception of love. That is a Godfather . . . NOT our loving God the Father.

And one who says "do whatever you want and I'll just love you" is a sugar daddy...not a God.

Good thing no one says that . . . we do reap what we sow . . . just not more than we sow.
