no.. i was replying to another poster and you're mixing things up.

if you cared to read the links you probably found interesting connections between the dates presented in the OP.. 4 dates had something in common in the area of sings and there is a high probability that the 5th one that is Jan28 is the day of the Sudden destruction.. I might have presented it as fact, but it's I'd say a possiblity.. if it happens people will see the NWO gave us clues indeed. if it is another warning alert, or nothing at all, well, it is their business.. no matter which day they choose to be the start of WWIII, April 11 is the start of the reign of the AC and the Great tribulation, and this is not a possiblity, this is absolute certainty and i never said "if April 11 comes and goes..." because it is set, entrenched, predetermined date...

in this thread we are discussing a possible date and a certain date and that makes it so i don't know confusing?

I read the links and there is nothing more compelling than anything I have ever read in the past by people who present current events to cioncide with a supposed second comeing, end times scenario.

I grew up seeing a minister at my church sell a book talking along the same lines for the year 2000, all the same style of case building we see here. Any one can do it if they want to spend enough time on it.

While sooner or later it is possible that someone might happen upon something that happens as if they predicted it, but all too often end time scenario goings on are like asking a child what number you picked between 1 and 10 and it goes something like this.

Is it 1? no, is it 2? no, is it 3? no. is it.....

What I see really is vast numbers of christians missing out on what Jesus is doing in people around them, now, that he may impact someone life, soon, and to be on watch and be aware of that and do not be caught sleeping. Many tend to wait and see something happening in the church they go to because thats where they have been conditioned to think God is going to do all his work.

All the while people find the avenue to feel special and to believe they are a part of something "BIG" because their religious beliefs and community have painted this picture that your hoping to see in your life time.

Yet, the fact is, that is mans image of what is "important". Seeing someone come out of the darkness in their life is one the the greater things we can witness in our lifetime, I'm personally not going to waste it by trying to warn people of an imaginary boogie man.

Don't get me wrong, if you actually believe all the people telling you this stuff, I certainly know you should in good conscience let people know I guess. "Just in case". But if you are a seeker of truth it would also be a good idea to spend a similar amount of time looking through past claims and how they analyzed things to see if you don't recognize the patterns I am talking about.

The trouble is, if you are not old enough to have been around when everyone elses dates were the "date to look out for" much of all that has been swept under the rug.

I will give an example,

Try finding the name of the book, let alone any text from it that a minister names charles massegee wrote about the second coming in the year 2000.

If my mom had not bought that book, I certainly won't know he wrote it by going to his website.

If all you doom and gloomers can do anything, at least understand why so many around you won't take you seriously.

So what you're saying is "no promises for the 27th-28th?" Sounds like a comp out to me if that's the case. What about after the "final 1260 days?" Will you give us a break then or will you just post stuff from the next best endtimes site?

Oh go read an apologetics site will ya?! There are numerous possible defenses depending on what school of theology its based on.
RESPONSE:

Of course, apologists loose their credibility if they admit that Jesus made mistakes. So they have to pretend what he clearly said means somthing other than the plain meaning of the words that he used.

you don't have to believe it, it is your choice but Jesus was not wrong,
you just have to understand what he meant..

RESPONSE:

Ah yes! The famous "so called dual propheciies having a two fold fulfillment" ploy.

But the first fulfillment would be the event Jesus predicted as actually happening, wouldn't it? Only then can an apologist can claim a second fulfillment.

Matthew uses this ploy a lot. "Rachael weeping for her children" first referred to her weeping for the Jews carried into the Babylonian captivity.

But then Matthew gave it a "dual fulfillment" in having it mean Rachal weeping for the slaughtered Holy Innocents. Ditto "I have called my son out of Egypt" referring to Moses and the Hebrews. Later Matthew wrote it into his gospel having it refer to Jesus.

(Of course Luke doesn't use either of these because according to Luke's account, Jesus was born ten years after the death of King Herod the Great).

So I suppose Jesus talking about camels walking through the eye of the needle being easier than richmen getting into heaven must mean exactly what it sounds like rather than just an exaggeration or mistranslation (some think "camel" was a mistranslation of "Rope")... As far as I'm concerned, based on what you've already said about this and about Lukes birth account, you're every bit as selective as the theologians (or laypersons) on those websites. Sadly, a very common flaw in evangelists (evangelical atheists included).
