I didn't bother to read all the responses to this question. But I feel this should be a relatively cut and dry issue with all Jews or Christians. It's Old Testament. It's a commandment. One of only 10.

I don't see a lot of wiggle room here.

But hey, it's 2017. Commandments are broken every day. Do what you feel is right. And allow ONLY God to judge you in the end. Because ultimately, He is the only authority. Not anyone here on earth. And especially no one on this bulletin board.

I think you have already done that to yourself.. But he can fix even that if you repent and ask him nicely.

Since fornication - which most interpret to include pre-marital sex - is a sin, am I doomed to a life of perpetual virginity? Technically I'm not a virgin, but in a way I don't see that as counting much (not something I want to discuss on here). I am remorseful for that and it's in the past now. But anyway, back to the question, if I can't find anyone to marry should I just be content being celibate my whole life? What if I can date, have girlfriends, but just not marry?

What's your opinion on this?
I think a lot of people got married who shouldn't have, particularly decades ago, because they wanted to have sex but felt like it was a sin.
