Why was the Tree of Life placed in the Garden of Eden if man was created with an immortal soul? Thanks for any responses.

IMO the tree of life was created as an opposite of the tree of knowledge of good and evil which Adam and Eve partook of. God did not allow them to eat of the tree of life after they ate of the other tree, because then I believe they would have lived forever in their dead state?? To us in this day and age, we can partake of the "tree of life" spiritually, to save us from spiritual death, and I believe this tree is now in heaven.

Thanks cg81 for your reply. The reason I ask this question is I can`t understand how if man was already made to live forever why there would be a need for the tree of life. I need to do some word research because I have found that some words or phrases in the English transalation of the bible do not always mean exactly what was meant in the original language and it can totally change ones perspective. Thanks again.

Default I hear your voice.

I hear your voice.

Dare I speak of answers upon our worried souls?

With humbleness I speak my own call and if not by God's grace and enlightenment, let these words dissolve along with the blowing wind. But if they hold the
truth, let them remain in us as revelations of our Father / His Son / Holy Ghost unto His children.

The built came to existence by God's love, sharing His I Am with those who came to be by His Will, projecting His unbuilt light upon the face of the waters
of the deep. Now it is the time for the All to choose where it wants to lay / who to reflect. If we want to be, we follow our creator - God - our light - our
shepherd - our life provider/giver - our fulfiller. Darkness cannot be, for it is not self-attained and it cannot ever overcome the light, for light is what
truly Is and darkness is dependent upon It through the choice (God's gift) of the built.

If we keep God on the throne of our lives He shall guide us to His Will - to be eternally with Him in His loving family.

So we got / get to choose. If we ate from the tree He forbids us, it means we doubted Him when we had the most - garden of Edem. Our ancestor’s disobedience
is not a promise of our obedience. Our doubt: the bad apple of disobedience. Thus to taste from the tree of knowledge of good & evil (disobedience) and not
only from the tree of life (obedience to God) we come to taste what is not of God, thus come in knowledge what is of God (good/Love) through the knowledge of
what is not of God (evil/selfishness/rejection of God).

God is the existence provider and death (ultimately spiritual) is our choice away from our source / Creator / Love / God. Is it not death (inexistence) the
bad taste of the bad apple? Have we not witnessed our physical / cosmic bodies perish? We sin by disobeying the Perfect Will of God. It is not the cosmos
that brings sin upon us but us who use unlovingly / irresponsibly the cosmos through our selfishness / disobedience to God. We identify ourselves with the
perishable cosmos instead of using it to recover & express our essence by glorifying God, thus identifying ourselves as His children – our meaning provider –
as children of light.

The meaning / essence of a song is drawn from the purpose of the signer. If the song praises the life provider, then the song is filled with life. If the
song praises the dying flesh, then the song is filled with death.

Who came to save us from such an end? Who came to set us free from our slavery to the self-consuming flesh / selfishness / pleasures / needs / error? Again,
in our oblivion and fallacy, He, the Truth, comes forth and reaches out for us through His incarnated Logos / Jesus the Christ. He leads a life of a
perfectly obedient child towards His Father, teaching & blessing us with His Word and ultimately bearing witness of (becoming a martyr in the name of) the
Truth, His Love, in the face of lies. The lies fear the Truth for the lies depend upon the Truth. The Truth is their reason of existence, through the gift of
choice / perception / consciousness from the Loving Truth, and the Truth shall be their reason of dissolution so that the gift of choice / perception /
consciousness will be purified through obedience to the Truth.

If we build upon lies, we shall fade along with them.
If we build upon the Word of God (Truth), we shall be resurrected through Him.

So now, we come to realize by the example of Christ how to be fulfilled, beginning with grief and repentance through the Comforter and Truth Revealer, Holy
Ghost, and proceeding patiently with joy to God’s fulfilling loving Will – our purification / destiny / completion. He is SO patient with us. Why not us with
us?

We come to learn to be in joy with the least as a sealing promise to be in joy with the most. Unconditional Love / God complete us in any cosmos. It is His
presence among us. His promise of eternal harmony. His light. His perfection. It is the displayed Love of God through Christ (God’s Word) that sets us free
from the oblivion & lying boundaries of selfishness and gives / completes the meaning to be eternally harmoniously with God, for Christ makes known the
Father, who is Loving, of whom His Logos speaks / reveals to the All and with whom His Holy Spirit connects the All.

With fear I share my understanding below because of my nothingness. Yet, I have faith in God; He rains His entireness unto His thirsty children.

God defines and Is Life and therefore brings forth the Tree of Life. If we eat the fruits of Tree of Life we obey God and thus become children of Life / God,
by inheritance, and as obedient children of God we become branches of the vineyard (log) bearing fruit as well, supplied by the loving grace of God, through
the connection, His Holy Spirit, with the vine / vineyard (log), His Logos / Son, of the gardener (planter of the root / root), Our Father. Thus we partake
of the Tree of Life.

How could ever a Garden of Eden be without its Tree of Life? From where would the garden’s life come from? Is it not the trees that make the garden? And
stepping a bit further, who is the gardener?

John 15:1: I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.
John 15:2: He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.
John 15:3: You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.
John 15:4: Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you
remain in me.

Read: John 14 – 17

John 16:33: I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.

Again, with humbleness I speak my own call and if not by God's grace and enlightenment, let these words dissolve along with the blowing wind. But if they
hold the truth, let them remain in us as revelations of our Father / His Son / Holy Ghost unto His children.

Yearn of Him, Turn to Him. With love.

I believe that the Tree of Life and the Tree of Knowledge between good and evil are one and the same.
In the Quran Adam is tempted by his spouse who is not called Eve but Haiwa, which in Arabic means Life.
So, Adam being the Hebrew word for Man (or mankind) and Haiwa being Arabic for Life, the fall is about Humanity being seduced by Life itself and not sex, lust or any other kind of sin.

the tree was put in the garden among other trees as Adam and Eve was placed in an environment that gave them the chance to love God freely.

God didn't want robots! what good is the love if a person is made to love you. eveyone is greatful for the love of a mom and dad, but it's something special when someone who doesn't have to pay you any attention for any reasons then decides to get to know you. they want to marry you because they choose to love you when so many other choices are available. God wants us to love him freely as well.

it was God who believed in choice long before we came up with the slogan. as long as the tree was there with them, and they ate not from it, this was their lifestyle decision to love God, which they did each time they pass the tree by, and ate from what they were told they could. obeying God by choice is loving Him. if they loved him then they would keep his instructions and they did until the day the snake/serpent, that wrapper laid it on Eve.{smiling}

life is full of trees still today. we choose each day if we will have a meal with the devil {unholy communion} out at his local BRANCH, or if we will have Holy communion with God.

it's simple really, no trees, no choice, no choice then what's the use of having a will if there is no way to excercise it.

trees bring choice, and choice is extremly powerful. choice will save a life or kill a life. it did then, and it still does today.

think about it.
