2Th 3:5 And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

So who directs? - yes the Lord!

Stop disbelieving in universalism and embrace the Good News.

I cant help but notice that most Christians go berserk when one suggests that there is no hell. Of course, they scream, there is a hell and you will burn forever for disbelieving in eternal damnation!

I, for one, am thankful I live today, and not a few hundred years ago, when people like me would have been burned at the stake for our heresy.

Now this is the plan

1 Timothy 2:4 who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

Now is God able to carry out this plan regardless of a whatever your theory of the devil may be and the power and authority you may give it ?.

1 Timothy 4:10 for for this we both labour and are reproached, because we hope on the living God, who is Saviour of all men -- especially of those believing.

Sounds like He's able to me.

Universalism is a false gospel whose author is Satan. Those who believe it and promote it are pawns and/or wolves in sheeps clothing used by Satan to lull the gullible into a false sense of security regarding their eternal future.

Unbelievers will be resurrected to disgrace and everlasting contempt at the end of the Millennial reign of Christ (Dan 12:2; Rev 20:5). They will spend the eternal future separated from God in torment in the lake of fire (Rev 20:10, 11-15).

Here is Satan's plan. To distort the gospel message in different ways, one of those ways being the false gospel of Universalism, for the purpose of deceiving who he may so that they might not understand the issue concerning salvation and miss out on eternal life.

Having given man volition, God's plan is to save those who respond to the gospel and receive Jesus Christ as Savior, and to leave in condemnation all who reject the gospel message.

John 3:36 'He who believes in the Son has eternal life, but he who does not believe the Son will not see life but the wrath of God abides on him.

Jesus Christ is the Savior of all men in the sense that He died for the sins of all men making salvation a reality for those who come to Him for eternal life. But those who do not come to Christ for salvation remain under condemnation. God can only provide salvation in accordance with the perfect standard of His Righteousness. If a person rejects Christ who made salvation possible then he rejects God's provision for his salvation and God has no choice but to leave that person under condemnation. God cannot compromise His perfect Righteousness by simply arbitrarily saving everyone regardless of whether they believe in Christ or not. And the opportunity to receive Christ as Savior is limited to this life. Heb 9:27 'And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment,' Every knee shall bow, and every tongue will acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, but unbelievers will do so as defeated enemies of Christ before they are cast into the lake of fire forever. Phil 2:10 'so that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth 11] and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Everyone will bow, either willingly or they will be made to do so, and everyone will acknowledge that Christ is Lord, but for many it will be too late.

Mike, you've done it again! .... 'Raised-up the TRUE Gospel of Christ as presented in God's Word, the Bible ... in the face of single-verse theology"

What are you trying to do anyway .... "destroy the false sense of security
in the notion that 'man is already good enough for Salvation ... without Christ's atonement or God's Grace?'" Be careful!... lest those who embrace the false doctrine of Universalism, declare you a heretic ... or worse, an "ET'r"

In times past God revealed Himself to man throughout history in many ways. With the completion of the New Testament Scriptures God's complete message to man is recorded in written form.

That book of which you speak is the revealed word of God and is the absolute norm and standard of truth. If you would have eternal life you must come to the Father through Jesus Christ alone.

John 14:6 'Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

Acts 14:12 "And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved."
