Solomon's spoken prayer:
Then Solomon stood before the altar of the Lord in front of the whole assembly of Israel, spread out his hands toward heaven and said:
O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven above or on earth below—you who keep your covenant of love with your servants who continue wholeheartedly in your way...
When a man wrongs his neighbor and is required to take an oath and he comes and swears the oath before your altar in this temple, then hear from heaven and act. Judge between your servants, condemning the guilty and bringing down on his own head what he has done. Declare the innocent not guilty, and so establish his innocence....
When your people Israel have been defeated by an enemy because they have sinned against you, and when they turn back to you and confess your name, praying and making supplication to you in this temple, then hear from heaven and forgive the sin of your people Israel....
When the heavens are shut up and there is no rain because your people have sinned against you, and when they pray toward this place and confess your name and turn from their sin because you have afflicted them, then hear from heaven and forgive the sin of your servants, your people Israel.
“When famine or plague comes to the land, or blight or mildew, locusts or grasshoppers, or when an enemy besieges them in any of their cities, whatever disaster or disease may come, and when a prayer or plea is made by any of your people Israel—each one aware of the afflictions of his own heart, and spreading out his hands toward this temple— then hear from heaven, your dwelling place. Forgive and act; deal with each man according to all he does, since you know his heart (for you alone know the hearts of all men), so that they will fear you all the time they live in the land you gave our fathers.
With every instance, Solomon reminded the people to point to their sin for the cause of being taken prisioner, famine or plague or whatever disaster or disease.
And what does Solomon say to do? ....."confess your name and turn from their sin"
God does not use weaponized weather to punish nations. God is at peace with mankind and has not been reckoning
their offenses to them for the last 2,000 years.
2 Corinthians 5:19-20 how that God was in Christ, conciliating the world to Himself, not reckoning their offenses to them,
and placing in us the word of the conciliation." (20) For Christ, then, are we ambassadors, as of God entreating through us.
We are beseeching for Christ's sake, "Be conciliated to God!"
The Jews in Solomon's day were in covenant with God under LAW and if they failed in the law then God
could use nature against them by withholding rains, withholding dew, giving molds etc.
The Lord does not use weather and storms and disease and disasters to bring fear to the sinners of the world to get them to turn to Him .....But if people lose their vision and have no faith in God and fail to pray and turn away to the gods of this world ..... Then the gods of this world will brings these calamities to the earth ..... See the gods of the world are the fallen angels or the spiritual wickedness in the high places who have limited power to influence the weather patterns, and these weather fallen angels are very giant type who are out of God control..... As the drought conditions in America have being going on all summer and last winter there was low snow, and warm conditions ...... See Jesus does not create the weather patterns , but He can change them for the blessing of Christ.... As in Matthew 8: 23-27........``And when Jesus had entered in a ship the disciples followed him....and there a great tempest in the sea , in so much as the ship was covered with the waves, but Jesus was asleep.....and the disciples came to him and woke him saying `Lord save us we perish`...and Jesus said `Why are you fearful O you have little faith`... Then Jesus rose and rebuked the winds and the sea and there was a great calm... the the men marveled, saying .`What manner of man is this that even the winds and the sea obey him!`......... See Jesus rebuked the storm , so would Jesus rebuke the Work of the Lord God for creating the storm ...No this work was not of God but the adversary , these fallen angels ...... So we need to turn to Jesus and ask in prayer with hope in God that He will make a plan to bless America with no tragic weather conditions and rebuke the fallen angels responsible for these conditions in Jesus name ....

When will the fundamental Church get it, that it's not what we have done but what God DID ?. This is what turns man back to the Father. Go tell your friends what great things the Lord has done.

Correct.. God doesn't use those for "fear" but that the Jesus (who is God) uses the weather \ storms \ disease \ disasters in four basic ways:
As a judgemnet against those who reject him and God ends their time of grace
Like you said as a call to return for the believer when they lose their vision and have no faith in God and fail to pray and turn away to the gods of this world
To keep the believer from swaying away from him.
God uses everything to benefit those who love him...good weather \ health and storms \ disease \ disasters
