Why the question?
Many promote the false notion that either Satan doesn’t really exist … or people can recognize and resist (‘bind’) Satan in their own wisdom, power and words. This leads to the spiritually-dangerous, complacent belief that one has Satan and temptation under control (or that Satan is only a ‘made-up boogeyman.’) – This rejection of Scriptural truth blinds one “to the devices of the enemy”…leaving one highly vulnerable to deception and helpless in matters of Spiritual warfare.

Truth: This is only a partial quote of James 4:7, which actually says: “7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Without first submitting oneself to God, and resisting Satan in the power of Christ (who won the victory over sin and death) --- human demands and instructions to Satan are as hollow as the demands of the 7-Sons of Sceva’ when they tried to cast out demons (Acts 19:14-16).

Summary: The notion that people somehow ‘instinctively’ recognize good and evil and can therefore resist/overcome Satan, false doctrine and ‘lying spirits’ in their own power … is both foolish and dangerous. Spiritual Warfare, like all things of God, is serious business and Christians must “arm themselves with the full armor of God” … and wield the “Sword of God’s rightly-divided Word” … like Spiritual warriors, instead of like small children waving wooden sticks.

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

If only we learn to be led BY still water( the peace of God within), we wouldn't be concerned whether this that or the other is of God.

Very few people who are Christian actually overcome the world completely by even the blood of the Lamb of God Lord Jesus ..... But We can give the spirit of this world a obstacle that will he take notice ....It is better if the lone soldier of Christ were in a group of believers who do have faith for spiritual warfare as more peace of God can come ......Were staying in the presence of the Lord were the adversary will not go can alway be a challenge as the Lord require faith of His Word to move and when people sleep , and when the cares of this world come in , then resisting the devil can be challenging....Some people are called to prayer that spiritual warfare can be very challenging but victory in Christ is alway there .....When people submit them selves to God , this means that sin is resisted which means that a large portion of spirits of darkness will leave those people and it will be a form of fleeing us ... but then we can have other demons who can come and be removed out by Jesus Holy Spirit ..... Some people may not have gifts of discernment of spirits and never pray for others and the devil will leave them be ....Still others run to the doctors every time the demons come and bring discomfort of some thing and live a more naturalism ideas of the spirit , and never turn to Christ for redemption from these dark spirits

Imagine a world where everyone was as concerned with his/her own behavior as they were concerned with everyone else' behavior. The pointing finger is as hard to overcome as the taming of the wicked tongue.
