True Christians, the ones who actually have God's Holy Spirit, should not take part in Halloween.

Much in the same way as was the Egyptian lake of fire; and Greek underworld called Hades.

Dude..... Just put the little halo on your daughters head, strap the angels wings on her back, and put glitter on her face and be a good Dad and let her trick or treat with her little friends so she can feel normal like everyone else.

Parents teach their children there's no boogy man.

Then teach them how to be one.

I've not celebrated Holloween since I became followers of Jesus.

It was a fight with family for years.
Just like The Santa Clause tree.
And the Bunny-business.

You must be a JW, because every Christian church I've attended in my lifetime has events for children on Halloween, an easter egg hunt at Easter, and a decorated christmas tree as part of the stage set or out in the foyer at Christmastime. The B-Day comment solidifies it.

That's really sad. These events can be so much fun. I think that Jesus would have wanted us to enjoy ourselves.

The note says that ghost are dead people caught between the earth and the moon? ...Not true.... All apparition are familiar spirits deceiving people with sighting of fallen angels and demon spirit ..... Were people who have passed away their spirit is collected and send to a gorge in the spirit were they cannot leave ........So what wrong with birthdays ? ...in Luke 3: 23.....Jesus had a birthday he was thirty years old.... Today Jesus is about 2012 years old... ..Birthdays are not sin ....

I was a bit irritated at kids suddenly picking up on the trick or treat thing from American TV shows, but I have to admit I had a conversion after entering the boards and saw how it miffed the more extreme of the Bible believers.

Now I see it as a bit of fun for the kids and a chance to pick up some free loot - just like Christmas. I have become cool with that, too.
