how Chruch Giving of Tithes and offerings is way down.

and he listed 5 reasons why....

1. People Think It's a Scam.
2. People Don't Obey.
3. People dont' practice the scriptures.
4. People don't have Knowledge

And I didn't get to write down the last one in time.
If anyone seen it please add it.

Anyway he said IF Every so called Believer Paid Their Tithes???!!!
The Church could collect 8 Billion Dollars in America! (every week I suppose)

Boy they want the heavy hitters to preach on Tithing?
Their in trouble and they know it.

Someone please tell Perry Stone the real reason. Which he failed to mention.
So many believers don't don't Tithe anymore because the early followers of Christ didn't.
So they were never preached to about Tithing either.

When are they going to stop lying to themselves about why so many believers don't Tithe anymore?

God says bring the Store house to Him. Not the church! Why is that? And why are churches especially the Roman Catholic Church not listening to His Word?

I look at all these Mega churches and the traditional churches including the Roman Catholic Church build all these multi million dollar buildings and complexes to boost their self egos spouting their Godliness. When in fact they dont need to puff up their false righteousness, but feed the poor, house the poor and those who lost their homes to the corruption of man.
Joel Olstean, comes to mind. False teachings and walking around as a multi millionaire professing to be doing God's work.

The state churches and state pagan temples forced people to give money and goods. didn't they?
The Jewish Temples were especially forceful on this issue.

The School Of The Pastors pump out Pastors with a Degree.

So they can be a paid shepherd on the false Tithe teaching.

It keeps The School Of The Pastors in business and their students.

Tithe Teaching is about big business.

Perhaps you need to read the Bible. You will find that not only did people give money to the Chruch but many sold what they had of value and gave it all to the Church.

Acts 4:32-37

32 And the congregation of those who believed were of one heart and soul; and not one of them claimed that anything belonging to him was his own, but all things were common property to them. 33 And with great power the apostles were giving testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and abundant grace was upon them all. 34 For there was not a needy person among them, for all who were owners of land or houses would sell them and bring the proceeds of the sales 35 and lay them at the apostles’ feet, and they would be distributed to each as any had need.
36 Now Joseph, a Levite of Cyprian birth, who was also called Barnabas by the apostles (which translated means Son of Encouragement), 37 and who owned a tract of land, sold it and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet.

Paul also mentions giving money to the church in 2Corinthians 9:6-13

6 Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed; 9 as it is written,

“He scattered abroad, he gave to the poor,
His righteousness endures forever.”


10 Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness; 11 you will be enriched in everything for all liberality, which through us is producing thanksgiving to God. 12 For the ministry of this service is not only fully supplying the needs of the saints, but is also overflowing through many thanksgivings to God. 13 Because of the proof given by this ministry, they will glorify God for your obedience to your confession of the gospel of Christ and for the liberality of your contribution to them

I think the main reason people don't "tithe" or give money to the church, because they are cheap and greedy. Simple as that. Or they don't trust God to meet their needs.

Joel Osteen does not take a salary from his church. He is supported by his books.

It takes a lot of money to run a seeker-sensitive mega-church. Perry needs to pay some bills, so it's time to preach on money.
