How many Jesus Christs are there to choose from?

There are many that people call Christs. Mat. 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Jesus did no start a place to go to. Those in His church do come together as scripture tells us to do but the location has nothing to do with it.

Matthew 24:24
For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive

Matthew 24:11

and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.

1 John 4:1

Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
And what are we commanded to do? ( yes ...... "c o m m a n d e d")
Ephesians 5:11
Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.

Yes we are commanded to expose them. However do you notice on this forum how many who claim they are following God will condemn you the moment you do what we are commanded to do?

Funny that nobody has seen any of these "great signs and miracles."

In fact it's interesting that the only stories we have of anybody performing or witnessing miracles ever in history or of being spoken to by a god or gods, exist only in ancient holy texts of various cultures.

Seems like for the past few millennia, there have been no miracles and no god-voices.

Gods never talk to people through burning bushes anymore, and we just don't ever see sticks turing into snakes, people rising from the dead, talking donkeys, and so on...

I think this is something on which we should ruminate, eh?

Do Jehovah's Witnesses believe in the Jesus Christ whose birth was foretold in the Old Testament? Do they believe in the Jesus Christ who was born of a virgin in Bethlehem, who grew to manhood, living a perfect life? Who suffered and died that they might be forgiven for their sins? Did the Jesus Christ they believe in return to life after three days in the tomb? I suspect they do. I can't imagine that it's some "other" person they are referring to when they say they say they accept Jesus Christ. At any rate, maybe we should allow them to say who they believe in and simply take what they say at face value.

If you had been reading what was posted you would notice I never said any one group did not accept which Jesus. I only showed that there would be false Christ according to scripture. Your question indicated you did not think there could be any Jesus except the real one and I wanted to share God's truth about the subject with you. Sorry if God's word offends you and your faith!

There's no need to be rude, Had to change names. Please don't insult me. I can absolutely guarantee that you'll feel better about yourself if you don't.

Also, anything that begins with "The Bible says..." or "According to The Bible..." is obviously not evidence either.

Real evidence. Show me. Believe me, I am open minded enough that I would be more fascinated than anyone else if someone could provide some evidence of the existence of a god or gods.

That is unfortunate because, while I said I understand a person looking at the universe and seeing the work of some kind of god there, it most certainly is not evidence that there was anything supernatural, magical or connected to any kind of invisible deity whatsoever.
How did the universe get here? That's all I ask. We settle that, and we'll address the rest later.
