This seems to obscure the cause, and highlight a symptom; that being the deliberate ambiguity of Scripture to engender just such perspectives as literalism.

You cherry picking bible verse quoters need to prove to me that anything in the Bible was the word of god or Jesus. How do we know what they're intentions were? You won't believe in climate change and we have scientific evidence of that, so prove it...

Those who are led by the Holy Spirit of agape love (Who IS God) ARE led by God. Those who are led by the Bible when it conflicts with the Holy Spirit of agape love are NOT following God. NOTHING can ever be from God if it conflicts with the Holy Spirit of agape love, period. Bible idolators have their priorities wrong.
