Within seconds you would be standing before God on Judgement Day. Are we prepared for this ultimate conclusion?
Think seriously about this. Keep this in your mind constantly and allow this sole thought to help keep you in tract.
I constantly remind myself that I will never be prepared for death. Whether I am 29 or 99. I will still be afraid to grasp my last breath. I will miss the ones I have grown to know. I will have some little bit of doubt of my full salvation.
Death will drop on us like a rain drop falling from the sky.

As a Christian, I do not doubt in the sufficiency of God's grace. Any doubt of how I will be spending eternity is overcome by faith in salvation through God's grace.
Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death (Ro 8:1-2)
For Christians, there is no condemnation. We are free from the law of sin and death and granted salvation.
1 Thessalonians 5:2-4 For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night.
Revelation 3:3 So remember what you have received and heard; and keep it, and repent. Therefore if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you.
It is true that we do not know when we will draw our last breath, or when Jesus Christ will reappear. But we know He is coming soon. I look forward to spending eternity with my Creator and my fellow believers.
About two years ago, I was in a near-fatal devastating car accident. That accident resulted in a permanent disability (spinal cord injury) which resulted in paraplegia. As my mortal life was going through drastic changes, what got me through those times is full knowledge that nothing could change my relationship with my Creator. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
But what does it say? “THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. (Ro 10:8-10)
Im glad I dont have a "religion"...and that I have Jesus..a personal savior..John 10:28-30..(Jesus said)..
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30 I and my Father are one.

I am not afraid to die, I just hope none of my kids or grandkids are with me if I go the way you describe. I don't want to scare them....I am not afraid of death and judgement. I am confident in my relationship with God and of my faith. He has given me this confidence over many years. I think that as we grow older, God in his unconditional love allows the Spirit to give us peace, comfort and satisfactiom that our life has reflected Him. The reward becomes more beautiful, and welcomed as we begin to see it in the distance..
I was on the edge of death once. And as I lay there, knowing that all I had to do was give in, I had no regrets. I had lived my life as I had wanted to and I was content and at peace.
Why didn't I give up? Because, I was still useful. If I ever got back on my feet, I could still function as a useful member of my family and community. Being of value to others is as important as anything I can think of. If that's all that life is about, that's fine with me. I don't ask for more.
I would not be afraid because the Lord would of prepared me already for it!
Faithful is he who calleth you who also will do it! (comes to mind)
