Because the things that are on the wide road that leads to destruction.. are the things that SHOULD be destroyed. Non-love and all of the things that it produces.. envy, strife, murder, hatred, abuse and all of the trickle-down effects of those things which touch every living thing and causes damage. It is the best news possible that those things (which are destructive) are BEING destroyed.

Wait.. you don't think God is going to destroy human beings, do you??!!

If Jesus Christ is the saviour of ALL mankind, (especially those who believe) and if every knee will bow and if God will be ALL in ALL... then the idea that God is destroying human beings, is an impossibility.

As in Adam, ALL die. So in CHRIST, all shall LIVE.
Every tongue will confess...

Eternal torment ... commonly used from people who hold the position it would not be fair \ just for sending unbelievers to hell.

Thus, it is a backhanded code talk to justify the accusing of God or the other option is to not believe in such a "god" if that were true.

Yes, I know. And they are in for a very rude awakening.

Extra terrestrials or those who alienate themselves from the rest of humanity.

Yes. We must confess and believe.

Romans 10:9

9 If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Rob, since you've decided to stick with the thread, may I ask why the topic of the thread leaves you feeling contentious?

I wonder ... do the believers in eternal torment here (DRob, Mike, jimmie, vizio, Twin, anyone else) agree that the things within themselves bolded in the post above are in the process of being destroyed?

That is a very good (and thoughtful) question, Pleroo.
