I don't think there are cars in Heaven. Everything from the mind and hands of man is worldly and not of God. There are much better, Heavenly things waiting for us. Heaven is not like Earth nor does it harbor the makings or ideas of man. Everything in Heaven is from God and much better than anything we have on Earth. This man will receive blessings in Heaven and God surely will not withhold anything from any believer.
THAT'S WHAT YOU THINK!!! You obviously have never read about Heaven or been there if you think it's not like Earth!! Earth is the one that is like Heaven!! How else would modern society have developed and the word spread across the globe?!!

In prison this marijuana dealer decided to become a Born Again Christian after reading a bunch of books about Heaven and strives to become the Christian person that God wants him to be.

Since this man decided to become a Born Again Christian and tries to live a life that is pleasing to God would God bless this man with the 1967 Corvette that he always dreamed of having when he enters Heaven? Also would God bless him with lots of fun and exciting relationships with all of the people who he loves the most?

I really want all of this man's dreams and desires to be fulfilled in Heaven, I think it would be horrible if God threw away all of the things he made for us to enjoy on Earth in Heaven

Also how does God feel about this man not getting the Corvette of his dreams and desires?.
I've wrestled with this issue myself for a number of years.

What does God reward us with when we get to heaven?

I've read some NDE's where the people who claim to have gone there say it is much like earth minus all the sin, dirt, corruption, etc. Don't know if we drive Corvettes in heaven because we don't need transportation--just think of a place and you're there; several people in the spirit world during NDE's said they thought of a place and were instantly transported. But God does promise a nice house on a lake.

Re marriage, Swedenborg, a very famous seer in the 1700's who wrote extensively on this topic had this to say:

Quote:
That if two people married on earth can live together in heaven they remain married partners; but if they cannot they separate, sometimes the husband from the wife, sometimes the wife from the husband, and sometimes each from the other. Separations take place after death and those who from early youth had loved and desired and asked of the Lord for a legitimate and lovely companionship are given one.

Then a suitable wife is given to the man and a suitable husband to the woman.

They will live together there, that is, be together in one house and in one chamber and bed which is provided and assigned to them according to the quality of their love. And it is for this reason that after separation a suitable wife is given to the man, and a suitable husband to the woman in like manner.

Married partners enjoy similar intercourse with each other as in the world, only more delightful and blessed, but without prolification. The intercourse is more delightful and blessed, because when the love becomes of the spirit it becomes more interior and pure, and therefore more perceptible, and every delight increases according as it is perceived, and increases until its blessedness is discernible in its delight.

To be totally honest I am not sure you are describing someone really coming to faith in Jesus Christ. But I will assume that you mean a real faith in Christ that results in salvation for the sake of answering the main question you poise.

I don't think there will be Corvette's in heaven. We will not need lowly man made things that break down and decay when we are in heaven.

That reminds me of one of those "Beg-A-Thons" the Pentecostals like to do on their entertainment channels a few times a year. They bring in some preacher and he claims to hear from God that if you give x amount you will get back 7 times that. And you don't have to have the x amount on hand call and make a promise to give what you don't have and if God does not give it to you then you don't have to pay it. Now if you waste the money God gives you on foolish things like rent, food and clothes for the children then your a worthless sinner bound for hell!!!

Every good thing comes from God. How on Earth would you get to work without some form of transportation?! These are NOT "lowly man-made" things! All of these inventions came from God and he put it into the minds of men to make life simpler for us! They ARE in Heaven because his children (us human beings) love them. Thus, they are there! And they are made of light and do NOT rust or break down in Heaven! You people need to read Revealing Heaven seriously.

Never heard anyone claim that we would have Corvettes in heaven. That's a new one.

Another reason we won't have Corvettes in heaven is because all the executives of General Motors will be burning in hell!

Rewards in Heaven are much better than any Corvette could ever be.
