What doctrine would that be?

Any doctrine that oppresses people under the yoke of fear and coercion, that makes people into hypocrites (they only follow Jesus because they want to be saved, in terms of moral development, this is the same as a child or sociopath acting good so they can get presents), and that convinces people the only way to be saved is to be terrified out of their gourd, is evil.

By contrast, the doctrine of free will, sure, allowed Lucifer to go elsewhere and Adam/Eve to eat that fruit. It also allowed many people who had other paths to go, of their own hearts and minds to choose instead to be good to other people, and not just the shallow goodness that wants something in return, but to actually expect nothing in return.

Yes, I do want to talk about common decency. And I have the right. Do you?

I didn't bring up that up ... but when one needs spaghetti to attempt to justify accusing Jesus of something, it's not surprising that anything makes sense.

Once you hear this being said from Jesus:
"And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.”

“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.' "

" Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ "

" Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them."

"There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; the very words I have spoken will condemn them at the last day."
it will sink in ........ even for you.
Not one of your favorite scriptures comes close to stating "Jesus Christ saves us from eternal hell", you have simply convinced yourself it says it.

Sorry mate, I think you have misunderstood what I was saying and who I was saying it to. It wasn't meant to be to you.

No one accuses Jesus of anything. It is only because you confuse YOUR views with those of Jesus that you think anyone is accusing Jesus. You need to actually get to know the REAL Jesus as HE revealed Himself to be and as HE revealed the Father to be . . . NOT what our ignorant ancient ancestors believed about them.

But, but, it came right after I mentioned the words "common decency."

Pleroo, I would like to make myself a little clearer. To me there's a big difference in believing in the doctrine of eternal hell and threatening all( believer and unbeliever) those who reject it with it.

@ romans519: have you actually read Romans 5.19? Here it is:

Quote:
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Hell or not, we're all going to get there.

blessings of His grace!

Or do you mean... Neurotic scared hysterics, that are deeply afraid of themselves and loved ones going to Hell, and will start with mini-sermons to people who aren't interested just to "save" them?

Because the latter category is what this sort of thing has supposedly saved. They probably aren't, though. They don't have faith, they don't have boundaries, and they barely have common decency.

The Gospel is not a Weapon - YouTube

Also, this looks like a cheese 70s movie, and Jesus is creepy.
By saved I mean being born again by putting their faith in Jesus for their eternal salvation in Heaven. The play is different with different actors at each event. They train members of the church they are performing at to play many of the roles. The play itself is effective in winning souls for Christ. Its no different than preaching a powerful sermon or telling someone the truth of Christ to cause them to be born again. However way people choose to present the gospel is up to them as long as it is scriptural.

You don't have a single scripture that Jesus Christ saves us from eternal hell, when will this sink in?.
How do you believe a soul is saved?
