I am curious to know if Christians keep the Sabbath. The Sabbath can be any day of the week, but you must not work on the Sabbath.

The Sabbath keeps me.

The life of the believer is one of resting in His finished work. (Heb 4)

Jesus is our sabbath. He is our rest so no, I don't observe a sabbath as outlined in the law.

Yes, after all it is one of the commandments. Now keep in mind, not according to the Old Testament but the New. We meet together weekly, on Sunday, as the New Testament church in the Bible did. We meet for singing psalms hymms and spiritual songs. We have reading of the word and teaching, We have the sacrament twice a month.

Its to hard to do absolutely nothing all day long, after church. I know many that keep the Sabbath and after they get home form Church they will go to sleep until the Sun goes down....I only live once, I can sleep when Im dead.

You would probably get more "yes" answers on the Jewish board.

Not not sure many Jews keeps the Sabbath the way the bible commands it, other than some who go overboard with the doing no work part (wont start a car, push a elevator button, walk more than half a mile).

Sabbath was made for man, not the other way around. Rest is a good thing, and if that is keeping Sabbath, I do it every day in many ways.

I do not keep a "Sabbath Day". We don't need to--as Jesus is now our "Sabbath". He is our rest.

I used to, but then I realized that every day should be the Sabbath. I try to set aside personal time with God everyday.
