you ought to be more accurate with talking points if you going to rely on them:
"romantically attracted" does not equal "lust" duh "desire her"
You ought to try to understand common English before posting. "Desire her" is what Jesus was condemning, and it is often translated as lust after her. The pooint being made is that "attracted to" is not the same as "want sex with." See if you can figure that out.

"every one who is looking on a woman to desire her, did already commit adultery with her" ~ Jesus ... YLT
Don't worry Pleroo, chances are others will probably come to your rescue with some sort of alternative irrelevant talking point that refutes Jesus.

I seriously have absolutely no idea what you are saying. Even after reading your exchange with nate, I'm still lost as to what your point is. Could you reword it?

The "tangled web" reference would indicate that he thinks you are trying to decieve, an idea for which he has no basis but his own imagining.
Yes. And if such people who "the enormous problem of sexual immorality practiced by heterosexuals." were to similarly create OP's \ posts with the same attitudes, there would be just as many focused OP's \ posts pertaining to that specifically refuting them too ... probably with many of the same scriptures that address such immorality.
And yet we don't see many threads or posts complaining about men looking at women lustfully.*

Twin reads the Bible with a carnal mind and does not look for the Spiritual meaning. Sexual acts are carnal and any and all concern about them is carnal-minded. The Spirit that we are to embrace is agape love and that has nothing to do with carnal acts. Carnal acts can be performed completely devoid of love and anything devoid of love has nothing to do with God who IS love. If our state of mind is devoid of agape love we cannot please God no matter WHAT we are doing. If our state of mind is filled with agape love we cannot displease God no matter WHAT we are doing.

Twin thinks that any defense of committed same sex relationships OR indication that the orientation is not inately sinful is a deliberate lie as opposed to the one he continues to perpetuate in spite of evidence to the contrary.
Repent! Turn from your idols and renounce all your detestable practices! ' " Ezekiel 14:6
What you have done here, twin, though I'm sure unwittingly, is to offer support for those of us who have stated repeatedly that 'sexual abomination' as found in Leviticus and other OT passages pertains to idol worship practices. In other words, those passages have NOTHING AT ALL in common with the modern concept of innate human sexual preferences.
Do you have anything to say about this ...?
