I'm curious to see what people respond with. This being the Christianity board, I'm curious to hear it.

How do you believe you get to heaven? Is that even what the Gospel is about, to you? Please just give a quick answer and maybe your religious background. There might be a different understanding among certain denominations or churches.

Since God divorced Israel in the book of Jeremiah, someone had to die for them to be able to come back and be in covenant with God, so he sent Jesus to die on the cross for our sins and whoever repents of their sins, trusts and believes in him, and follow his commands to Love God and Love one another will have eternal life.

God is not counting your sin against you so be reconciled to him and enjoy the wonderful life God has prepared for you.

The good news of Jesus Christ and His once and for all sacrifice. Saved by grace through faith.

The gospel is summed up in John 3:16:

16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life."

I'm Southern Baptist.

The good news is that we don't have to be stuck in our selfish lifestyles, but may be open to a better way; guided by a spirit of concern for the well-being of all people involved in any consideration.

Demonstrating that Law was invalid as basis for judging men, and that love triumphs over hate: resurrection, not death, is the good news.

Why wasn't Law valid as a basis for judging men?
