Post a Parable, Saying, or Story you feel conveys a Wise message, then explain it's meaning to us.
It can be from scripture or some thing you wrote or read as long as you feel it was in some way inspired by God.

I started this thread because I would like to hear from people some of there wisdom, or what they believe is wisdom.

I will start:
You have heard it said: "An apple rarely falls far the the tree."
But I say to you some times an animal picks up the fruit and carries it off, buries it and forgets about, in time the rain falls, the sun shines, and the seeds sprout into a tree that some times grows larger than it's parent.
There are some things we can't change such as our genes, but we are in control of our beliefs and thoughts and who we become or change into as time passes, do not allow yourself to think that the negative traits you see in others must persist in yourself, you can change with time effort and the aid of God.

May peace and love be with you all.

All emotion begins with Love. Either immaturity or maturity stems from this love. If the ways of immaturity are the ways followed then the vine will die and can cause the other sprouts around it to die also. If the ways of maturity are followed then the vine will grow and water all the sprouts around it. Love is perfected in forgiveness, tolerance and acceptance of immaturities with the gentle guidance of the mature. The world can go far with hugs, kisses and gentle words of encouragement and teaching.

Yeshua Bless You

There is a wisdom of the fear of God which is if you get into the understanding of Christ can be a complete blessing beyond all measure , but it can be an understanding of the most disgusting truth of the adversary spirit, which many people would prefer to leave at the door or far away , but faith in the provision of Christ against the adversary will be to most blessed of all in faith ...Still the baptism of Holy Spirit will bring people wisdom , and understanding as believers can have a lead in the spirit , which God knows all things so believers who are lead by God will have the advantage of His life one step ahead

The only never changing thing is that forever there are changes, that is why I say unto you be like a palm tree that sways with the wind rather than an old oak that snaps when the storm comes.

An closed mind is like a closed door, nothing can get in and nothing can get out,
but an open mind is like a open door, things can come and go.

Narrow is the Way of Life and few enter it,
but Broad is the Way of Destruction and many enter it.

The Way of Life is this: first love the lord your God; secondly, love your neighbor as yourself; and whatever things you do not desire to be done to you, do not do them to someone else.

But the Way of Destruction is this: first of all, it is evil and full of curses, lusts, adulteries, murders, thefts, idolatries, robberies, false witnesses, hypocrisies, double-mindedness, fraud, arrogance, boastfulness, jealousies, foul speech, pride, persecutors of the good, haters of truth, lovers of a lie, not regarding the reward of the righteous, not holding to the good or to the righteous judgment, spending sleepless nights not for good, but for wickedness; far from whom is gentleness and patience; loving useless things, seeking rewards, unmerciful to the poor, not helping the hardworking person, not regarding the one who made them, child murderers, destroyers of God's creation, turning away the needy, oppressing the distressed, wrongfully assisting the rich, unjust judges of the poor, altogether sinful. May you be delivered, my children, from all of these things?

Water on a hot day during the tail end of a drunken wedding feast is a miracle...it is the best wine in the world....the great tongue and cheek comment "You have saved the best till last"............Christ would not generate more alcohol to a dehydrated group of drinkers ...that would be destructive....He gave them water...although a little pink from being in wine jars...cool life giving water.....I wonder why scholars never got the joke.....I guess you had to be there....

Man cannot comprehend the existence of error, when to deeply immersed in it.
Much like a fish in water, they know nothing else; except that which surrounds them.

"They are lured in with bobbers, lead weights, and enticed with fancy bait."

"A nickel to close to the eye can not see the dollar behind it" not sure who's the author.
Mainly an finnancial truth but could also be applied to many other things to, such as our minds are so focused on one thing that the rest of what could be good becomes unimportant.

Blessings, AJ

Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it.
