Many make big deals when someone says they dont go to church. I know some people have to work and cant control their schedule, but when someone is free and just doesnt want to go, is that wrong? The bible tells us we should try to gather together with other believers.

I go every week, but alot of people I know just stop goig and use the usual "hypocrite excuse" like they have never done anything hypocritical in their life either. Dont get them wrong, there are a huge amount of actors in the pews on Sunday as their lives dont match their actions the other 6 days of the week.

I know finding a good church can be very hard, but do you think it is a sin not to go to church at all (I.e. you make zero effort ever to go, but say you are saved)?

I would say it depends on your attitude about why you don't go. If you don't go because you don't want to worship God, that's a problem. If you don't want to go because the nearest good church is 75 miles away, that's different.

I can be.... but doesn't mean it is. The heart is remains hidden to other men but God see's. Since He determines what's sin and what ain't, so I' gonna leave it in his hands. No condemning 'cause you don't go. I do think it's better to go... but that's just me.

However I see people lie all the time about why they don't go to church. I see people create contrived circumstances to justify not going to church. I see people who believe their own lies. I also see good, honest, hardworking, truthful people who don't go to church 'cause they're working or other circumstances. Police/firemen, doctors and nurses, utility workers, soldiers, farmers, mothers with new born's... etc. The list is huge.

...just sayin'

Usually it is because of unforgivingness which people do not go to Church or try to find a different one which is suitable ...... So Jesus said that if you do not forgive then Father God will not forgive your trespass , and what ever you bind on earth will be bound , and what you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven

I know sin is defined as transgression of the law and the Torah didnt say you MUST go to church. It is say the Sabbath was a holy convocation, which could also be taken as a day when you should gather to worship. But Saturday or Sunday which ever day you go, if like someone said there is no church within many miles of you I could understand, but to never go at all kinda says something too.

Not sure if TV church is considered attending a church, but many do that and dont go to a physical building at all, but still get the word in.

Since it is one of the Ten Commandments I think we better take it seriously. It is a commandment.
