. You are correct, JB. It is something I wish I had known decades ago before my Herculean scholarly efforts to explain God to my intellect. We do not need scholarly knowledge or education to know God. Christ abides with us and His Holy Spirit (Comforter) within our consciousness will guide us to the truth God has "written in our hearts" so we need no one to teach us. The problem is too many use the "precepts and doctrines of men" to override what their heart of hearts sincerely tells them using the excuse that "God's ways our not our ways" . . . or "God is mysterious." Those are satanic lies and deceptions. Of course God's ways are our ways . . . or Christ is NOT the "Way" and there is no point in following Christ's instruction to His disciples to "love God and each other." If our heart tells us something is Evil and unloving . . . it is Evil and unloving. Pretending that God could EVER make it Good and loving through some mysterious "ways" is satanic deception.

I repeat my question: Is it meant with spirit in "The holy spirit", un-corporal being\personality?

Wind breath is the base meaning.

Hebrew:

Greek:
22270 pneuma, , to, (1) as derived from pne,w (blow), of the movement of air; (a) blowing, wind (probably JN 3.8a and HE 1.7); (b) breathing, breath (2TH 2.8; possibly MT 27.50 in the sense "he breathed his last"); (2) as a condition and agent of life breath (of life), life spirit, soul (LU 8.55; possibly MT 27.50 in the sense "he dismissed his spirit"); (3) as the immaterial part of the human personality, spirit in contrast to the outward and visible aspects of sa,rx (flesh) and sw/ma (body) (1C 5.3; 2C 7.1); (4) as the seat of the inner spiritual life of man, the capacity to know God, spirit (AC 18.25; RO 8.16b); (5) as a disposition or way of thinking spirit, attitude (GA 6.1); (6) as an independent spiritual being, not perceivable by the physical senses; (a) of God himself spirit (JN 4.24a); (b) as the third person of the Trinity, possessed by and proceeding from God or Christ (Holy) Spirit (MT 3.11; AC 16.7; 1TH 4.8; possibly JN 3.8a); (c) as a demonic non material being, only evil in the NT spirit (MT 8.16; MK 1.23); (d) of an angel as a spirit-being (HE 1.14; perhaps 1.7); (e) as a bodiless human being ghost, specter, spirit (LU 24.37, 39)

The context will help determine the meaning not theology.

Why is it translated to "spirit" in English, if it means wind, breath ? I couldn't find spirit meaning wind\breath in the dictionary, does it say wind\breath in the old dictionaries?

You may have to be patient, English is a revolving language.
All the meaning a word has, is that which humanity gives it.

Wind/breath are earthly similes for the spiritual.

- God Gives The Holiness Of Himself, For Holiness.

God Who Is Spirit Gives Of Himself So We Can Be Holy As He Is.

To me this is: "The Holy Spirit OF God", that, when He comes upon us,
we receive power to do God's will.

The person which said that the holy spirit is God's personality\being, was he basing that on the name "the holy spirit" ? Perhaps it is more right with God's wind\breath, since by spirit it is not meant un-corporal being\personality ?
