Lets use this thread not so much to try to stump each other (after all, anyone can look up the answers in the Bible), but to increase our knowledge of God's Word and thereby increase our collective faith.
I would like to see this thread be a fun and informative place to come to everyday where we can share the Word with each other.
If you answer a question, please ask a question. Please give the verse your answer comes from and feel free to go into detail adding more information if you like..

Q. "Why did God send His only begotten Son to this world?" (there can be more than one correct answer.)

So that anyone who believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. So that the world "MIGHT" be saved through him.

That's part of the answer. The part that applies to us.

There are a multitude of answers and so I will start from the very first promise God made to Mankind regarding our redemption.
Genesis 3:15, And I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your offspring and her offspring. He shall bruise your head and you shall bruise his heel. The verse says much but one of the things it says is what the mission of this "Seed of the woman" would be. He will ultimately defeat Satan and his minions but it will not be accomplished without opposition.

John 10:10 Jesus' answer, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full."

Good question.

Haven't come up with another yet.

An interesting and delightful new thread, Lee. I hope we can all get some enlightenment as we go forward. Who knows, we might come to appreciate the words of Jesus in John 7:[17] If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
If we are committed to DOING His will, we should all be able to lay down our denominational differences and adhere to the words of Paul in 1Cor. 1:[10] Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

"Might," "should" and "may" are in the subjunctive mood and thus dependent upon what goes before.

Example: I have a pen in my hand. I will loose my grip on the pen that it **might** be falling.
Should I loose my grip on the pen it will fall. "Might" is not the "might" of doubt but that which will surely occur.
The saving of the world is dependent upon God sending His Son into the world. Since He did, the world will be saved.

A. God sent His Son into the world to save sinners (1 Tim.1:15).

Your example is not even proper English. Better luck elsewhere.

Have a good day!

One who says such does not know English grammar. It is better to humble oneself and learn correct grammar rather than going through life ignorant.
