I would recommend that you read it with an open mind, for it is written from the perceptions of men.
Furthermore, you may want to consider that Pastors or Priests are merely men, who interpret things
the way they see it, or as it has been taught to them. Once programmed, it's not easy letting go.
It will not matter what parts you read first if you retain the current misunderstandings in the "precepts and doctrines of men" that constitute mainstream Christian dogma. The current misperceptions that govern the interpretation and understanding of Christ and His Gospel have been indoctrinated over 2000+ years. They are not easy to break or correct . . . even Christ Himself was unable to break the OT veil of ignorance . . . and He was willing to die trying.

Even those who DID believe He was the Son of God simply interpreted His mission in terms of the OT angry, vengeful War God who needed to be appeased regularly with blood sacrifices of the innocent to assuage His Holiness or so-called justice . . . or whatever!! Hence His real self-sacrifice enduring the brutality and barbarity of our savage ancestors in pure agape love . . . without smiting anyone and forgiving ALL . . . was interpreted using the ignorant superstitious beliefs about God from the OT. He was made into the ultimate blood sacrifice to appease God. The perversity of humanity is legion. Talk about missing the point completely!!!

Dear James,
Yeshua is the Aramaic common name of the English name Joshua, which has been replaced by the 16th century name Jesus, whose latin sounding translates to "earth pig". The original common name, Yeshua, translates into English as "God saves", which was the original intent.

As for accepting the canon as holy, this is counter to the Word of God. ( Isaiah 8:20 & Proverbs 20:25) You must make inquiery on you own, and use standards to separate the tares from the good seed (Mt 13). The primary "ruler of the world", during the time of the establishment of the Roman church and its'canon, was the Roman emperor Constantine. According to the witness of John 14:30, with respect to the testimony of Yeshua, "the ruler of the world is coming and he has nothing in me".

Jerwade-

After examining my conscience during prayer this morning, I know that I sinned against you in the course of our many exchanges yesterday.

I am truly sorry for having offended you, and I ask for your forgiveness.

Going forward, I will endeavor to limit my comments to the subject matter of the thread itself and to present my views in a charitable manner. As scripture says:

Hebrews 12:14-15
Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (RSVCE)
14 Strive for peace with all men, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.

Finally, I have several people to whom I must repent, so please do not think that my sincerity is diminished in any way by the fact that I use this message more than once in many threads as I come across those to whom it must be addressed.

God bless.

Randy
