Do you burn in hell or do you just not receive eternal life?

Is hell set aside for non-believers or just the sinners that do believe?

Maybe there is no hell. But there is a heaven. Those who accept Christ as their savior and redeemer are rewarded with eternal life with him. Those who sin and do not repent or do not believe at all just die. There is no eternal life. The lights just go out. But not eternity in the fires of hell.

What do you think?

Its not that simple.

Any hell we experience is of our own doing as a result of reaping what we have sown through our own actions.
But this is not the end. The way out is to follow Jesus and what He taught - to love God and one another.

And if you don't? Hell with eternal punishment and torture? Or just an end? Nothingness?

Your question implies God fails. Do you think God cannot save? Or He does not want to save?

There is no eternal punishment only eonian correction. Ultimately God can reconcile all - that was the purpose He sent His son - to be the savior of the world, the atonement for the sins of all people, so that none should be lost but all be saved.

However that does not mean we do not reap what we sow. As I said, any hell we suffer is a consequence of reaping what we sow. But this is not eternal.

Those people will not receive eternal life, which does not mean they won't exist. It does mean they will be eternally separate from the source of life (God).

Revelation 20 says hell (Hades) will be thrown in the lake of fire, along with all who did not receive Christ and are judged for their deeds.

Revelation 20:13-15 - And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. 14 Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

God doesn't fail. He also doesn't say all will be saved.
