When a country got Christened, like Sweden or Norway. How did the Christening change the structure of the ruling? Did they make a new form of ruling? Did the pope have anything to do with conducting the country after the Christening? Did he get money from the kings? Thanks

The Church did a great job in spreading Christianity to Europe. Christianity was much more appealing than the pagan religions. The Catholic Church had a solid message and it was a success everywhere.

The article doesn't say anything about what I wrote I was wondering about. How did the Christening change the structure of the ruling? Did the pope get any task over the ruling of the country? Did he get money?

Your question does not make sense. It is possible for a country or a people to be christianized (that is, to become Christian), but you cannot "christen" (which means to baptize) a unit of civil government, such as the Kingdom of Sweden.

Are you merely using the wrong word because you don't speak English well, or are you really asking about countries being "christened"? If that is what you are asking, be aware that it is impossible.

So the pope didn't take any money from the king after the Christening?
