Historical Reliability of the Bible: Did walls of Jericho actually fall down? (creation, Genesis)

I just thought I would post some things on why the Bible is historically reliable given the general way in which some posts on this forum imply if not outright claim that the Bible is full of contradictions and innacuracies.

This post has to do with the archeological evidence for the walls of Jericho actually falling down.

I didn't read the post... but having been there (Jericho) and there is a dig currently underway... it appears the walls sank, or some might say fell into a hole. A large portion of the walls are still intact, but in the ground.

I too have heard about the archelogical dig and that it confirms the Bible.
