How is a Christian's life effected if he believes that Jesus is not God but a true messenger of God? (Jehovah's Witness, beliefs)

What things, ideas, and practices will be effected? How is life changed for good practicing Christian?
If people speak like that and believe it, then it demotes Jesus to just a man. It makes him akin to maybe one of the prophets, (Muslims demote Jesus to less than God because they do not believe that Jesus was God, only Allah is God to the Muslim).
Making Jesus into JUST a man takes away his Godship. That changes things immensely. He was the ONLY sinless qualified sacrifice for sins, which was His main reason for coming to the earth.
I cant think of anything else at the moment, but even just the above TWO things are major!!!
the day the Heathen Romans/Vatican Catholics said "Worship this image as Christ or be killed" referring to a painting of a man by Leonardo divinci and Michaelangelo, the "Christians" forever lost their way.

Do you have a link to your source(s) for that? I'd really like to learn more about the day the Catholics were told to worship a painting. Name of the painting(s) they were told to worship?
You make a lot of claims. Time to start backing them up if you want to be taken seriously. tic-toc. tic-toc. tic-toc.
Just something to consider from the inside cover of a publication widely distributed by JWs, The Watchtower, because some posts about JWs do not convey the actual beliefs well.
"It promotes faith in Jesus Christ, who died so that we might gain everlasting life and who is now ruling as King of God's Kingdom."
I post the above because it would not fit the OPs belief of Jesus as a "true messenger of God" because if I'm not mistaken the poster is of the Muslim faith and therefore views Jesus Christ as a prophet of God whereas Christians view Jesus Christ as more than a man and prophet.

Yes, but JW literature also promotes Jesus as a "spirit creature" sent by God but not the Son of God. That is a difference. Not sure if they use the term "messenger", though. It's been a while since I read a JW publication.
That largely depends on who you think Jesus is, and what he did. What do you believe Jesus accomplished? What makes a "Christian"?
For a Christian it is simple . . . if Jesus is not IDENTICAL to God . . . His mission was a failure. His task was to bring the Spirit (consciousness) of God (Holy Spirit) to His Human consciousness thereby connecting all human consciousness to God. That is how He is the ONLY Way to God . . . His is the only human consciousness (Spirit) that is identical to God's Holy Spirit. When He was "born again" as Spirit upon His death (as we will be) . . . His human consciousness (Holy Spirit) became available to us all within our consciousness as the Comforter.
