This doesn't make any sense. When was the USA a "Christian nation," and when did it end? Why do you say it WAS more Christian than Canada or England or any other Western Nation? This makes no sense, because FAR more American presidents had NO RELIGIOUS affiliation than Canadian Prime Ministers (for example), especially in the beginning. The ONLY example of a non-religious Prime Minister we've ever had was Kim Campbell, who was a lapsed Anglican, and she was only in power for a few months to fill in for the disgraced Brian Mulroney until the next election whereby she got trounced by the devout Catholic, Jean Chretien.

Maybe you're talking about Church attendance? Church attendance was going up in the USA until about the time of the Vietnam war. I'm not sure, but it may have been going up in Europe too. By then slavery and such were already gone. Jimmy Carter was the first "Christian" president. Before his time time no president referred to himself as "Christian." Instead, they only ever referred to themselves by sect, Baptist, Catholic, etc.

I think to Joe Average Citizen, a Baptist, Catholic, or Anglican etc. is a Christian.

Trix, Cheerios and Frosted Flakes are all breakfast cereals.

One thing sticks out.

America was the proud host of the majority of Jews on this Earth.

America held the majority until a decade or two ago, and now Israel holds the majority.

Ditto. And the bolded part gets me every time. There are many days where I wonder how blacks in America can be such devout Christians. Based on our ancestors' experience we should want to get as far away from Christianity as possible. And the "good old days" comments give me pause as well. I always think to myself, "we didn't have any good old days."

And yet, back in those "good old days" a lot of Christian, church-going, Bible-believing Americans belonged to country clubs and golf clubs and sewing circles and goodness knows what else that denied membership to Jews.

Go figure.

Speaking of the good old days, let's not forget that interracial marriage was also forbidden.

Don't get me started.

But the point is, '' Egypt is on an entirely different continent that Israel.''

Jesus was not crucified in Egypt.

He was crucified in Rome,'' The nations.''

The most powerful of nations crucified him in a Roman province.

You are falling victim to the fundamental attribution error, a mistake that blacks don't make, plus you seem to assme America is "less Christian" than it used to be, which is weird since all the presidents that had no religion affliation have been dead for a couple hundred years now. This error is one step away from a conspiracy theorist only instead of blaming the "Global elites" for everything, you blame religion. Maybe religion is only a minor player in people's actions both past and present.
