Inspired by fear.

Inspired by power control.

Inspired by crowd control.

There is no end as to what inspired people to write these works.

Question:

What do you mean by "real"? If one can find it in a library, it's real isn't it?

(Books of the Bible are)written wholly and entirely, with all their parts, at the dictation of the Holy Ghost; and so far is it from being possible that any error can co-exist with inspiration, that inspiration not only is essentially incompatible with error, but excludes and rejects it as absolutely and necessarily as it is impossible that God Himself, the supreme Truth, can utter that which is not true" [Providentissimus, 1893]

All books are real, it is the contents that are questionable.

It is not up to the reader to prove something is real, or not.

it is up to the author.

Can I prove "the cat in the hat" is not real, of course not.

Nobody can disprove another's fantasy.

I have an invisible magic penguin, who sits on my shoulder, and you cannot prove I do not.

It is scary that someone in the 21st century would actually believe that.

It is scarier that someone would not believe it, but suchh is spoken of in the Bible, so at least that is true.

Mind you there are no inspired translations.

All the books of the Holy Bible are inspired and historical. Once upon a time Metropolitan Philaret in 18th - 19th centuries was said that Jonah the prophet couldn't be swallowed by a whale, the Metropolitan answered that even if the Bible said that Jonah swallowed a while, we should believe it with no doubts. Later the official science descovered killer whales which can swallow a whole man.

Jesus referred to the events in Genesis as real history. That's good enough for me. You can see it here where He existed even before Abraham. That would sound silly if He believed Abraham was a fictional character.

"Very truly I tell you," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!"

John 8:58

Another sign is that in the stories, anytime it intersects with a real ancient culture like Egypt, the details are accurate.

Jews were never slaves in Egypt.
