Scripture says that those who belong to the world speak in a worldly way. Since the word of God and of the son of man has its own sound separate from the world one can tell who is of the world and of God by their words.
Since Jesus sent His followers as He was sent and Christians believe Jesus is God then they should use the words of God if scripture says that the one who is sent by God speaks the words of God.
Correct?
Isn't that how to honor the Son and abide in His word?
John 3: 31-34
"The one who comes from above is above all. He who belongs to the world is worldly and speaks in a worldly way.The one who comes from heaven is above all. He testifies to what he has seen and heard but no one believes him. If anyone does believe him they render the truth of God for the one who is sent by God he speaks the words of God, His gift of the spirit is not measured."
In Matthew 7: 15-23.......Jesus said ...``Beware of false prophets which come to you in sheep`s clothing , but inwardly they are ravening wolves...You will know them by their fruits ....Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?........Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit , but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit .......A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit , neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit ......Where for by their fruits you will know them ......``...... See not by the gifts of the Holy Spirit will you know them or the doctrines which they believe to Jesus that you will know them or shun them , but Jesus said only by the fruits you will know them
Personally, I've seen many Christians - particularly those of whom are on reality television - that talk, walk, and act just like the world. Luckily he has so much mercy and love for all of us sinners that he gives us room to grow and learn the error of our ways through either time, divine revelation, or life encounters.

Those who belong to the world will not come to the light but he who acts in truth comes to the light and out of the darkness in the service of his Father and into the kingdom of God.
