Do we still believe in Jesus' virgin birth? If so, why? (Torah, Gospel)

Religion is religion and in religion anything goes. That includes creating the world in six days and men living to be more than 900 years old. A virgin birth is par for the course.
Why do people try to make sense of religion? When discussing religion we are not supposed to apply reason or logic. We simply allow our imagination to run wild.
Moses wasn't an idiot.
Moses didn't write down the story of the creation to show 6 literal days to contradict himself.
Moses did not write a story about a man being lain down in a sleep of death to take a rib in order top make a wife.
Moses wasn't speaking literally, a rib is an elder.
There are 24 divisions of priests in 3 sections because there are 24 ribs in 3 sections.
Moses did not show Adam tilling a garden until he got bored enough for God to look down on him being alone, and then have Adam naming all the animals after he had tilled the garden alone in a 24 hour period.
If a person just wanted to name all the birds and rodents, it would take years.
Moses purposely shows a very long period between Adam and Eve, certainly not something done in a week.
It had never rained before the days of Noah, when the rain began to come down, people had never seen rain before, and that's why they mocked Noah, Noah claimed it would rain.
There has been studies on how long life lasts inside a closed system, a pressurized system where one could consider the atmosphere of Earth having an abundance of water to where it pressurized and was able to prolong life.
If the atmosphere of Earth could have had an abundance of water before the first rain, men could live to be 900.
But the story is told in the full knowledge that the Earth had never been rained upon.
Moses was not speaking of an Earth we have today, and he was not speaking of an Adam or Eve like that sort of garden exists today.
God told Adam,'' Who told you that you were naked.''
Adam and Eve becoming aware of their nakedness isn't about a man and his wife, it is about humanity becoming aware in itself.
It was written by men but inspired (God breathed) by God.
like this part:
Numbers 31 14 And Moses being angry with the chief officers of the army, the tribunes, and the centurions that were come from the battle,
15 Said: Why have you saved the women?
16 Are not these they, that deceived the children of Israel by the counsel of Balaam, and made you transgress against the Lord by the sin of Phogor, for which also the people was punished?
17 Therefore kill all that are of the male sex, even of the children: and put to death the women, that have carnally known men.

Many share that perspective.
It's a constant source of wonder (and dismay) that some remain who still worship such a being.

Once again, I would rather worship a being of perfect justice than a being that is indifferent to evil. It's scary how people mock the justice of a perfect God.
However, this line of thinking is just a red herring for any discussions of God. People of certian ilk use the 'God monster' card when they have nothing useful or intelligent to say.

Leave it to you to not understand what you are reading and think you can just take a little snippet out and use it to malign the God who gave you life and breath and all.
Why not start with Numbers 31:1? The Midianites were responsible for the deaths of many Israelites. Not only that but what if there were only two males killed of the Midianites the Israelites took captive? You just irk me that you can make such stupid remarks when, after all, you should be thankful to God you have life.

Amen to that! They are like little children. They can hardly read in the first place and what they do they don't understand and say all manner of garbage.

Just a head's up, the color red is only used by mods.
That's what somebody told me the other day when I used red, I was so glad somebody gave me the heads up

You are certainly free to worship a mass-murdering narcissist and use whatever rationale floats your belief boat.
And I, and most of the rest of the planet, can believe the truth.
