The problem with your idea of "a former dope addict is Christianity", is that dope has a propensity to damage the mind. Combine that with "Christianity" being built on the foundations of the false prophet Paul (Mt 7:15), and the worthless shepherd Peter (Ze 11:17), you have a calamity waiting to happen.
