I used to like Campolo when I first heard of him... not so much afterwards. Just didn't care for his vantage point of things.
As far as this latest opinion, we should not be heed Campolo’s call and accept as members of the church (as opposed to being visitors... they can visit and attend anytime), people who openly and happily practice homosexuality.

My church is ahead of the curve. They have been welcoming and "accepting" ALL people for years. We have had women serve in leadership positions (even as pastor), we have people of all cultures, races and creeds (probably even various religions as well) participate in leadership roles..
Anyone NOT familiar with Tony Campolo's story about the birthday party he threw for a prostitute in Hawaii? That was the story (one of a few) that finally shined the light on my dark years and allowed me to really start seeing people for who they really are---MY NEIGHBORS!!
