Vatican fires monsignor who came out as gay on eve of major meeting | Fox News

Isn't it curious that the Vatican denies that the Pope had a meeting with the Kentucky county clerk, meets with an openly gay person, talks about inclusion of gays, and then fires the gay monsignor.

I would like some serious rationale for all of this please.

You need to listen more to what the Church says and not secular media.

Please don't think an apostrophe + s = plural.

Just add an "s."

Thank you.

Simple. The priest announced he had a boyfriend and was in love. Having a boyfriend is frowned upon if you're a priest. Had he announced he had a girlfriend and was in love the outcome would have been the same.

In terms of celibacy ... yes ... but what about the overall subject of gays?

Are you expecting an explanation of the Pope's actions from random people on the internet? If you want an explanation from the Pope...write him a letter. The Vatican has a post office. Last I heard a group of nuns opened the letters and directed them to the appropriate office.

That article is not about the overall subject of gays. Priest isn't celibate so he was fired.
