Guess that answers the lie of an earlier OP which claimed the opposite.
Hope those in the LDS faith is ready to face the intolerance and hate speech from the self-proclaimed "tolerant \ love crowd" for your religious convictions.

The children can join the Mormon Church when and if they:
1) ARE ADULTS.
2) ACCEPT the teachings of the church which disavow homosexual marriage.
This keeps their homosexualist parents or guardians away from participation
in church cermemonies while they are minors.

If you don't like it, don't be a Mormon.
Since you made mentioned to the first sentence in the article, it reads in its entirety:
"The children of same-sex parents will be banned from blessings and baptism until they turn 18 and disavow gay marriage under a new Mormon Church policy that deems homosexual parents to be apostates, or people who have renounced their faith."
