Your statement is partially true......the free gift of sins being taken away from ALL of mankind makes righteousness AVAILABLE to everyone......however we know that only a small percentage will take advantage of it. If somebody calls you and says you have a cool million in cash in a deposit box in Chicago..........it does NOTHING for you if you stay in Dallas and don't collect it. We access that gift from Jesus by FAITH and simply believing what Jesus has said in the gospel given to Paul..........in the end there will be no universal salvation because getting your sins forgiven is only part of the process of salvation. By faith you believe and Jesus then gives you eternal LIFE in place of your spiritual death from Adam..............

It is more than spiritual death because all in Adam die a literal death - Romans 5:12; 3:23
Adam became 'spiritually dead' the day he broke God's Law, but Adam also died a 'literal death' at age 930.
Dead Adam ' returned ' to the dust of the ground - Genesis 3:19
A person can Not ' return ' to a place he never was before. Adam simply went back returning to where he started.
All the people Jesus' resurrected while on earth had a healthy physical resurrection back to life on earth.
Jesus was giving us a small preview, or coming attraction, of what Jesus will later do for most of the dead during his 1,000-year governmental rulership over earth. All who died before Jesus died are Not called to heaven, including King David - Acts 2:34. They can have a healthy physical resurrection back to life on earth with the opportunity to life forever on earth as originally offered to Adam before his downfall. As originally offered to Adam, they too can have the opportunity to gain 'everlasting life' on a beautiful paradisical 'earth' under Christ's millennium-long day of governing over earth, or over earthly subjects of God's kingdom.- Psalm 72:8,12-14
Also, we are nearing the soon coming ' time of separation ' on earth - Matthew 25:31-33- when the living figurative ' sheep' can remain alive on earth, and live through the coming great tribulation of Revelation 7:14, and continue living on earth right into the start of Jesus' millennial reign over earth when Jesus, as Prince of Peace, will usher in global Peace on Earth among men of goodwill.
