The only Jerusalem that matters today is as Paul says, "Jerusalem from above who is the mother of us all" however, this is only pertaining to followers of Christ

As far as 'earthly Jerusalem" she and her children remain in bondage

Gal.4: 22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.

23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.

24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.

25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

27 For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.

28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.

29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.

30 Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.

And the son of the freewoman was Isaac...IOW, the JEWS...

Flesh persecutes the spirit. Everyone born of flesh is the master over the spirit and the flesh persecutes the spirit within. I am Ishmael, the first born son of flesh, but I have been born again the second born of spirit, and I have another life to live after this life of flesh.

This is explaining BOTH the children we are.

Galatians 4

1What I am saying is that as long as an heir is underage, he is no different from a slave, although he owns the whole estate. 2The heir is subject to guardians and trustees until the time set by his father.

3So also, when we were underage, we were in slavery under the elemental spiritual forcesof the world. 4But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship. 6Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba,Father.†7So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.

''SO ALSO, when we are underage, WE WERE OF THE BONDSWOMAN"S SON.

BUT THEN.

We get adopted through Isaac, and while we are still slaves in bondage, we are also free.

2 different sons.

YOU WERE ISHMAEL

Galatians 4
8Formerly, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those who by nature are not gods.

YOU ARE ISAAC

YOU ARE BOTH SONS

Galatians 4
21Tell me, you who want to be under the law, are you not aware of what the law says? 22For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman and the other by the free woman.

Dispensationalists who commit spiritual abortion of God's Word saying this is only for the Jews (like they say about Hebrews and other book between Hebrews and Revelation ) or some other part is only for the Christians never will get it right .

What is is worse than that is they lead many astray

THE BIBLE IS FOR EVERYONE TO COME TO GOD REGARDLESS OF WHAT RACE OR GENDER (sorry for the upper case typo)

Once Christ had ascended the gospel needed to be preached to everyone but Israel as "people of the land" were already long gone and the good figs of Judah became followers of Christ.

The bad figs and the Edomites they mingled with got what prophecy had already determined (Jer.24:8)

yes, the son of god became flesh in the likeness of Adam the first man. his heavenly shape was conceived in the likeness of a mere man, but without the spot of the sin of adam the first?
