I've Come To Understand I'm A Serious Minority (hell, women, churches) - Christianity - - City-Data Forum

Reading these threads over time has made me feel like a lone reed in the wind. LOL (Just a description not a suicide note)

Lets see, I'm out of touch with modern times and theology because:

I believe the bible to be true and God inspired and says what it says.

I believe that when the bible says homosexuality is a bad thing it actually is just like adultery, fornication, drunkeness etc.

I believe the whole world will NOT be saved. (To much sadness)

I believe Satan exists and wants to destroy humanity any chance he gets.

I believe Hell is a real place.

I believe that Jesus is the only way to salvation.

I believe a baby is a baby and should not be killed no matter what.

I believe this country was founded on Christian principles.

All these things (And probably more that are just not coming to mind right now) have been presented to me as "not so" so far.

I just found it interesting and no matter if I"m the last person in the nation who believes this, I will and I will not be silent about it.

Man it's cold in here. LOL

Edit: Almost forgot! (Thanks Mams

) I beleieve God created the heavens and the earth. See I KNEW I was missing some! LOL

Believers and Seekers have been de-sensitized to immorallity, the leaders of churches have become passive collection plates, with general contractors for preachers and teachers. Build it bigger, butts in seats....

With all that, men and women have lost the moral high ground and become hypnotized into Jesus did it all, I need do nothing....

You are a minority, stay strong. Fill your lamps with Oil and be prepared for the new day.

We are not a minority. We make up between 80-88% of the United States (depending on which poll you read) demographic.

One of the biggest challenges in a Christian's life is dealing with unbelievers. With the amount of them drawn to this forum to denigrate our views, it's no wonder you feel like we are in the minority.

Stand tall and keep spreading the good word.
