Funny. This song just came into my head "I do it all for my baby - because of every little thing she's done for me..."

Hope this answers your questions freedom.

Hbr 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Hbr 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of [our] faith without wavering; for he [is] faithful that promised

Hbr 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

This tells me that we can be sure that God is faithful to complete us, as long as we are faithful without wavering.

Does it mean the same to you?

godspeed,

freedom

If we lack faith, then he is faithful as he cannot go against himself. Our faith comes from him, so again it is not a work of our own. But thankfully as I've said before, I love the Lord so very much, and have given my heart over to God for safe keeping - so I no longer have to worry about my faith, it is a non-issue. It's all in his hands, whether I live or die. I just go whereever God takes me. Perhaps Love truly is blind. At least for the individual who has found the one they love. Not much else to say regarding this one. But you're more than welcome to respond. God bless.

In Christ,

Stephen

Mat 7:21 ¶ Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

You come across like, I need do nothing, Jesus did it all.
That is not what Jesus taught...

Luk 7:50 And he said to the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.
Luk 18:42 And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.

We have faith, or we do not. We can ask for Faith if lacking, and if we seek to do His will we will receive a fullness of Faith.
But to think that we can just sit and wait for Jesus to rub faith on or in us, and not lift one thought, or prayer, or action to generate the faith necessary to stand, is plain false and not what Jesus taught at all.

Respectfully, Who taught you this? Am I misunderstanding you?

godspeed,

freedom

The faith doesn't originate from me. That was the point I was trying to make. If I state that my faith will get me into heaven, I'm essentially making faith in itself into a work of man, as oppossed to a work of God.

The Pharisees had many works and much faith, but they were not performing works of God, only works of man. By grace we turn away from the dead works of the flesh, and move forward in life producing works of God.

The faith that comes from God is an active faith, which enables us to go about doing the will of the Father in heaven. The faith is dead, if no fruits of the spirit or Godly works are present within my life.

In Christ,

Stephen

Smile God's love

The moment you start receiving the love of God in your heart, all your wordly desires start vanishing on its own.

Quote:
Love is divine. Jesus rightly said God is love. This can be said vice a versa that love is God. Knowing love- is knowing God. Love can be found only from within, never from outside. As long as you are searching it from someone or something all search will be futile.

Love gives true freedom but attachment brings bondages. Love gives wings where as attachment binds you with earth. Love uplifts while attachment boggles you down. Love is giving, gifting, sharing, without any strings attached.

Love cannot be searched, seeked- thus can never be found.

We had the love verses spoken at our wedding and printed on tiny little scrolls as wedding favors! One of my favorites!

I think that once God is in your heart, truly truly in your heart that you automatically become a more compassionate, caring and loving person as a whole.

Even for the people who I dislike, I would not wish them any harm, and if they have not received Christ as their savior I pray that they do.

Loving others is an integral part of being a Christian.
