Does your church have a regular church-wide event, such as a dinner, at which awards are given to a handful of volunteers each time?
Would you be in favor of your church giving out awards to volunteers, such as the “First Congregationalist Church Leadership Award”? Would you want to receive such an award?
Personally, I would not, as I’m not aware of anyone who serves in a volunteer church position for any reason other than glorifying God, but clearly opinions may differ, so I’m curious.

Thanks.
No. The reason we serve isn't to be honored at a dinner.

Occasionally we recognize volunteers, but not on a regular basis.
