But there isn't contradictions... so guess you'll have to explore more humanistic discernment possibilities.
well, obviously to many people there is a very large apparent contradiction--even if i agree with you that there are no contradictions--that has not been adequately illuminated, ts. Doesn't matter what we think, iow.
The contradiction: the bible claims God condemns human sacrifice to appease gods, yet you believe God demanded a human sacrifice to appease God.
It's staring you right in the face, but you can't or won't see it.

lol. ergo, another mind is required to grasp the lesson. Either that, or a mistake was made, oops, an oversight, not caught by the thousands of people concerned.
well, let's see. But at least let's admit that it was deliberate, and hardly an accident or mistake.

Who are the thousands of people concerned of which you speak?
hmm, well i might not have given that reply to you; but then, you likely would not have said...whatever it was that prompted that reply, either. So, to this i am led to change your mind. But you have another point in mind? Because i am not quite seeing how this relates to "But God is apparently doing just what has been widely condemned, ergo God is obviously a hypocrite."
I would say that it's the religiosity or religiousness of man that is hypocritical.

What did Judas do with his blood money?
Acts 1:16-18New International Version (NIV)
16 and said, “Brothers and sisters,[a] the Scripture had to be fulfilled in which the Holy Spirit spoke long ago through David concerning Judas, who served as guide for those who arrested Jesus. 17 He was one of our number and shared in our ministry.”
18 (With the payment he received for his wickedness, Judas bought a field; there he fell headlong, his body burst open and all his intestines spilled out.
Or.
Mathew 27:5
5 So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself.
This is a clear contradiction. There are many, many more.
Jerwade once again (has) shown only contempt for the Bible ...
The only thing I hold in contempt is your lack of understanding.
And the ancient rituals of a blood sacrifice to cover your sin.
