This has probably been pointed out (I didn't feel like scrolling thru 60 pages of posts).. but regardless of our individual thoughts & interpretations of the Bible.. I'd submit objectively, there's no book in Judeo-Christian Western Civilization more important than the Bible. Influence on culture, laws, beliefs, etc.. And there's no close second.

It's not a contradiction. The first was a levitical requirement, the second fulfilling cursed is everyone that hangs on a tree. Idioms abound. Judas "bought" the potter's field, the field of blood (earthen vessel with Adamic nature still in it). So does everyone who stays in the 30 fold realm or outer court. It is actually the non-fundamentalist who are in the wilderness. In the OT, those in he wilderness were not allowed to enter the promised land and they never found the rest God promised to those who believed in Him---Heb 3:19.
So why doesn't the Bible teach them that owning another person as property is evil?
I wish I knew, but I decided a long time ago that God has a good purpose for everything He does--His ways are not our ways.
I will offer 2 guesses. First we are to become slaves to God and to serve Him as our master. Second, God does not promise us a rose garden in this life. Be faithful where you are and you will get a rose garden in the new heaven and earth.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
I know both guesses is like kissing your sister, but that is the best I can do.

Muslims consider Jesus a prophet like Mohammed, not God. To be saved one needs to have the right view of Jesus. IMO, a Muslim would never confess Jesus as their Savior.
