Lev 23:
And ye have numbered to you from the day (1-12) adjacent to the sabbath(1-13), from the day of your bringing in the sheaf of the wave-offering: they are seven perfect sabbaths (6 or 7 days);
unto the morrow of the seventh sabbath ye do number fifty (45 or 15) days, and ye have brought near a new present to Jehovah;

It says fifty yom, (not fifty yamim), so how do you get "45 or 15"?

As it says in the link

Each stripe is 30 years. 3 stripes is a season. Half a season is 45 years.
45 is glossed over as 40 when the writer wishes to minimalize it.
45 is glossed over as 50 when the writer wishes to make it seem bigger.
