Mark 7:21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

Mark 7:22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, BLASPHEMY, pride, foolishness:

Mark 7:23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man

Col. 3:8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, BLASPHEMY, filthy communication out of your mouth.

Now let's look at what cannot be forgiven...

Matt: 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the BLASPHEMY AGAINST THE HOLY GHOST shall not be forgiven unto men.

If you want examples of it, read the thread on tongues. The reason it cannot be forgiveness this life or the next is because repentance has to present for forgiveness in order to receive it and you can't receive it after you die.

There are only 3 scriptures that mention scorn in the NT and they all deal with them scorning Jesus when He told them the dead girl was not dead only sleeping and she was going to be raised from the dead. That's a "works" and the Holy Ghost does the works. Peace
Blaspheme means to scorn??????

I can see what he's saying---if we scorn God....why would we expect him to love us? We can scorn God, or man...difference is just scale.

Jesus wasn't referring to a 1-time sin. He was referring to a life-long disdain for God.

How does someone scorn something they don't believe exists?

Mocking, deriding and having in derision is what scorning is. Sound familiar? Peace

You think that the same God who says, "Love your enemies" can't -- for any reason whatsoever -- love you?

Pretty sure Jesus was referencing a ONE TIME thing...a life-long disdain has the ability to be forgiven--BLASPHEME DOES NOT.
