In return I'll recognize that not all women are weak, incapable, ditzy air-heads whose place is in the kitchen.
Since you qualified your statement by saying "not all".....please give us the percentage of women you would classify as weak, incapable, ditzy air-heads whose place in in the kitchen.
Why, yes I have. Where is the book of Mary? Mary M. The wives of David and Solomon? Eve?
Where are their voices? Who authored Esther?
You state the Bible excludes the voices of Women. If Esther remained silent as her role as princess then the resultant would be the extermination of her people.
Also there were 6 female prophets in the Bible. 5 in the old testament and one in the new testament.
A prophet (male or female) is the mouthpiece for the one who sends him or her; the prophet speaks on behalf of the sender (Exodus 7:1-2). A prophet is considered a seer (1 Samuel 9:9), because God gives him or her the gift of foreknowledge. God reveals his secrets to prophets (Amos 3:7), and true prophesy is initiated by the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:21). 1 Corinthians 12:28 and Ephesians 4:11 both rank prophets as second only to apostles.Female prophets: Miriam, Deborah, Huldah, Noadiah, Anna

Esther did not write the Book of Esther. We are not hearing her voice. None of those other prophets had voice either. Men are writing the stories of women from the male point of view.
The Bible is much like the Media. You have to be able to sort the truth, and real news, from the fake.
You also pick and choose what parts of the Bible to read. How do you know what to believe and not believe?
Once again, Vizio, you are basing your objection on the idea of the Bible as authority and therefore can't envision the idea that parts of it may be confirmed by THE authority and other parts shown to be outside the characteristics of that authority.

Pounding sand is a fun hobby.
He doesn't accept the characteristics of the authority even though they are detailed in 1Cor 13, Galatians 5, and the Sermon on the Mount. As you say, his authority is the Bible which is effectively his God.
Perhaps you meant to point out MALACHI 3:15...yah, I am pretty sure that applies.
